actually, i didn't notice any significant change personally, but i was reported that payment page calls many api calls, and system getting slow because of it
do you think that much api calls is normal for the anti-fraud measures and so on?

The calls from your screenshot don't look immediately look wrong to me but it can be hard to say with performance.
