Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹

Hm, now that you mention it, I'm not seeing that option anymore either. Please bear with me while I take a closer look.

Thanks,

Another somewhat related question: The test verification stripe element... That should be firing identity 'verified' webhooks to my development URLs, correct? I am getting the 'capabilities' webhook response, but nothing from the 'identity' ones.

All other webhooks appear to be working, but that one isnt hitting (it was working fine when I wrote it!), and when I go to that webhook page it just hangs on "Waiting for events".

This is why I need the "test webhook" functionality. Just to confirm I'm not going mad! ๐Ÿ˜…

Very understandable!

#

While I'm trying to figure out where the test event functionality went, I also wanted to suggest that you can trigger events from the Stripe CLI. It's not quite as convenient as the dashboard, but it is an option.

Thank you. Any option is better than no options! ๐Ÿ˜„

Thank you for your patience, it does look like dashboard test event functionality has been temporarily removed. Given this I'm going to double-down on the previous suggestion of leveraging the Stripe CLI for the time being.

Thanks. In regards to my other question, the test verification stripe element should connect/fire testing webhooks? The entire testing ecosystem is a complete ecosystem. It's not an isolated test?

#

This is the testing verification element I am speaking about.

Sorry, I'm not terribly familiar with that flow, but let's see if we can figure it out. Can you provide the account ID of a connected account that you used this flow for?

So I'm not seeing any identity. events being triggered for the connected account, but I am seeing some on your platform though I haven't been able to find one for the specified connected account yet. Are you listening for these events on your platform?

Ive been testing with dozens of accounts all week. I may have mistaken that specific account.

I can see the identity events. The webhook isn't being hit. I am trying to confirm that it should be firing the webhook so I can cross 'the test component doesnt fire webhooks' off the list of possibilities.

This account has gone through that flow many many times.

Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹
Stepping in for toby as they had to step away
give me a moment to catch up

@halcyon bison apologies for the delay, based on input from my teammates, yes that verification flow should still trigger corresponding events.

#

Currently it looks like those events are being triggered on your platform account which is why your connect webhooks aren't picking up on them.

Thank you very much. That is the lead I needed. ๐Ÿ˜„
