the money appears in "Transfers to come"

and "In Transit to Financial Institution" is zero.

does the customer (Account) have to go through the Stripe site to transfer money to his bank account?

what you call customer, is what Stripe calls a connected account.

For a destination charge, the funds that are transferred to the connected account will also take a certain amount of time before they become "available" to payout.

The connected account doesn't necessarily have to trigger a payout to their bank account via the Stripe Dashboard. It depends on what is their payout schedule configured as - https://stripe.com/docs/payouts#payout-schedule

it also depends what is the connected account type i.e. Standard/Custom/Express. Some connected account types don't have a Dashboard and the payout schedule is controlled by the platform
