hello
Let me look into it ๐
just so that I'm on the same page, are you trying to test your local endpoint using the dashboard or did you want to add your endpoint URL and test the webhook events?
So i've added a endpoint URL
and i want to test a webhook event
Im sure i've done this before in the past via the dashboard
Maybe im asking the wrong question
let me try this way
is it possible to trigger an webhook event via the dashboard
in a similar way via the stripe CLI
?
Looking to see if there are any prebuilt triggers on the dashboard but really you could just create a new test customer or invoice and see if the events are coming through
I believe you're talking about Send test event right?
https://stripe.com/docs/webhooks/test#webhook-test-live
is there anyway i can do this via the dashboard
I believe the feature was removed in the latest update.
still digging to see if there's anything we can explore
@rocky sandal currently the best way to go about testing the webhook via the dashboard would be to create some test objects such as customers, subscription, invoices etc and see if those events show up on your endpoint. I'd also recommend that you reach out to support to see if they can re-enable it
