I couldn't find relatable examples for this
The ideal approach would be to make sure Customers can't create new accounts using an email that's already been used.

Can I give you an example to look at.

So we've gone through multiple iterations which may have causes multiple customer ID's. Are you able to look up a customer on our behalf so you can see the issue?
