These auths should only be tempoly visible to customers though, as if they are for a non-zero amount they will be refunded shortly after successful auth

Yes I know it is set the static description, indeed I would like to use a dynamic statement descriptor still for setup intent

Nope, the setup intent will use the merchant descriptor

Conceptually this makes sense, because the setup is not limited in scope to a specific payment/transaction

It's set up for you to use, theoretically, on any payment in teh future

Alright I see, so no chance for get it to work with setup intent, as I did with setup intent because in case of 3D Secure without the setup intent it would trigger 2 SCA modals as when the user does the payment there are two transactions
