unfortunately, no - stripe doesn't currently support businesses in the Bahamas / payouts to Bahamian banks
so would this mean that payouts would need to go through non-traditional means i.e. PayPal or Transferwise?
stripe accounts need to be registered to a business based in or individual resident in one of the countries stripe does support: stripe.com/global
it sorta depends what you're trying to do here
i want to build an online store, so i want to be able faciliate book purchases on my website using stripe.
if eg: you have a business based in the US, you could pay out to a US-based bank (including, iirc, a transferwise virtual account)
and then transfer the money to an account in the bahamas, unrelated to stripe
okay, so what you're saying is that I would need to have a business registered in any of those 46 countries. where can i go to find the requirements of opening a stripe account? im not sure if you're saying if i need to have a business license in that country or a business bank account.
there's a bit more colour on this here https://support.stripe.com/questions/requirements-to-open-a-stripe-account-in-another-country#:~:text=A government-issued ID%2C such, transfer currency for that country.
