In order to access this beta feature, you must explicitly specify which version of the beta you want, by passing an HTTP header "Stripe-Version: 2020-08-27;us_bank_account_beta=v2"

Well, I got past that hurdle but I have another problem. What I want to do is store the bank account by attaching it to a customer, before I actually charge the customer any money.

When I try that, I get this message: PaymentMethods of type us_bank_account must be verified before they can be attached to a customer.

I was told that Stripe would handle this verification process automatically. Did I misunderstand that?

I'd really recommend writing into support for this given that this is for a specific beta - typically we don't offer a ton of beta support here (since we haven't tried them all) and the folks at support should be able to help
