Can I send you his account id?

Hey there 👋 yes, you can provide the account ID here.

Is there a way to see if he or someone on his team deauthorized us? Or if it was via an API call?

#

One sec

#

I am getting "Could not load the connected account"

#

He keeps connecting and all works fine and then he seems to be saying that he is getting deauthorized. Can you tell why - what is the request causing a deauth?

#

Apologies for the delay, I've pulled up the account and am going through the logs.

So we show him on our end that he is connected once the connection is made and we don't really make any changes after that. I am concerned that maybe he is connecting to another account and Stripe made some change I don't fully understand about platforms and multiple connections yes? My fear is that he is trying to send webhooks to some other account and Stripe is deauthizing. That is just one hypothesis though. Customer claims he is not rolling his keys or deauthorizing.

Nothing is immediately jumping out as me for why the account was deauthorized.

graceful epoch
#

Can you tell when it happened?

#

Is there a record in Stripe if someone did it from the dashboard?

#

Or if our app made the API call (I don't think we do this currently)

#

So 100% this account has deauthorized our platform yes?

It says the source of the event is "Automatic" which means it wasn't explicitly triggered from the API or Dashboard

#

Still trying to figure out what exactly did cause it

hmmm

#

It looks like it would be better to reach out to support about this https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

graceful epoch
#

really?

#

Support is really not helpful ever

glacial grove
#

They will be better able to look in to this kind of deauthorization

ok will do
