Hey - Thanks
This shows an applied balance as -$9.99
The users is now getting our premium offer for free.
Can you send me the invoice ID (in_xxx)?
The customer had a $9.99 balance, that's why 9.99 was removed from the invoice you shared.
The 9.99 were given in this invoice: https://dashboardstripe.com/invoices/in_1KH554LMqGlm2hMEnCWVMnvw
This was an invoice created by the subscription, and the description states: "Unused time on RGTCycling Premium after 12 Jan 2022".
This does not seem to make any sense to us
😄
it seems he got a credit of $9.99 when his trial expired, the reason being "invoice too small".. according to stripe: "When the amount due on an invoice is less than Stripe’s minimum chargeable amount the invoice is debited to the customer balance and added to the amount due of the next issued invoice."
Give me a few minutes to investigate.
It seems the subscription was deleted: https://dashboard.stripe.com/events/evt_1KH554LMqGlm2hMEUHuxDMCh
So the unused time for the subscription was credited to the customer.
You made an API call to update the subscription with the cancel_at option: https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_aDfDi7Vqgm6hhw, which canceled the subscription.
Great - Thanks for your help.
We're going to get to work on this.
One last question - Can you point me in the direction of your docs on how to manage price lists for different locations and currencies?
I don't think we have a documentation on that. What exactly are you trying to do?
Create different prices for users in different countries
e.g $9.99 in the US and £7.99 in the UK
Our users are big charged fees by their credit card companies also.
there's no specific guide, it's just business logic in your application
