Generally yes, Subscription via Elements and Subscription via Checkout could be different. But if you can provide 2 request id of each case, I can try to compare to see if I can suggest anything

how about creating a new one (via Checkout). I can confirm the Element Subscription's Invoice doesn't have a PaymentIntent. Just want to know if Checkout Subscription has different behavior

That's the API log. You have a different tab for webhook events

I just tried to create a 100% off (free) Subscription via Checkout and via Element. Both results in an Invoice without PaymentIntent, so I think the behavior is consistent
