Hi there, have you tried using the DNS lookup tool to verify your DNS records are published?

Just created the TXT record with that value, now need to wait for the verification.

#

Still getting unverified for some reasons.

Would you be able to double check the following please:

  • Ensure there are no records that share the same name as the provided CNAME records. (CNAME records must be the only record present for a record name.).

  • Ensure the added record names do not include your domain twice. Some providers automatically append DNS record names with the domain name. In this case, if we ask you to create a record with the name “bounce.example.com” you must only enter “bounce” into the name field.

  • Ensure there is no typo.

I have set it up on the root domain.

So there is no CNAME record for this.

Was it you that has originally initiated the verification process, or another administrator for your account?

I did it myself just now and several times since yesterday

I was wondering which DNS provider you are using?

dnsimple

One possible reason for your delay is, your domain is still being verified, as this process could take up to 72 hours.

#

If the verification process is still showing the same result after 72 hours, I suggest writing into our support team.
We can then help identify what is causing the delay and provide you with more information.

I just got the email too

couldn't be verified because it failed DNS verification checks. This usually means the domain's DNS records don't match those provided in your Dashboard.

#

What I have done so far

  1. Added a domain e.g. xyz.com
  2. Got the TXT record value from network calls since UI isn't working
  3. Created a TXT record in our DNS for xyz.com

Looking at this specific message from our team, I would recommend reaching out to your DNS provider to confirm the DNS record you have provided is correct.

Not sure what else is missing

And double check with them they have registered for you correctly.

Okay I will give it a try
But this same worked for other services for example taking domain ownership for GCP

#

The domain in question is used by company for years now

#

and there are several other verifications already done

#

I will give it a try with some subdomain with CNAME and check if this issue persists

Thank you for the information, after you have confirmed with dnsimple, if the problem still persists, please write to our support team via https://support.stripe.com/contact
