Hi 👋

Personally I like to do this by creating a subscription with a trial period (so the first invoice is $0 and passes automatically) with a test card that will definitely fail (such as 4000000000000002).

Once the sub is created, I then update it to end the trial period (trial_end='now') which triggers the first renewal flow, which should fail due to the card being declined.
