Hi there ๐ do you know what type the connected account is? (Standard, Express, or Custom)
standard i believe
Traceback (most recent call last):
1: from (irb):33
Stripe::PermissionError ((Status 403) (Request req_TpP4nBSP4hjLeA) You cannot perform this request as you do not have Platform Controls for Standard on the account.)```
i get that when i try to delete or reject it
And the UI appears to have no option to remove it at all.. that we can see anyway
Yeah, it looks like that account is either too old to have platform controls, or is controlled by another platform, so you won't be able to remove it. Instead you'd need to get the account owner to disconnect the account from your platform.

That's insane, our servers are at the whim of a third party removing the connection for us?
So if they never respond to our email, we what... just sit back and wait for it to stop? ๐
thanks for your time Toby, i know it's not your fault. hopefully you can see how daft that solution is though. anyway, at least i'll stop trying to disconnect it now.
I completely understand, and believe it's a driving factor on why we're trying to introduce more platform controls.
If you don't actually need to process the events then you may be able to refine what the webhook endpoint listens for.
we do use the webhooks, it's actaully the main reason we use connected accounts. is it our account that is too old for the platform controls?
actually, you can disconnect a standard account with https://stripe.com/docs/connect/oauth-reference#post-deauthorize
