It cancels the subscription immediately - as long as your are on an API version after 2016-07-06 (https://stripe.com/docs/upgrades#2016-07-06) you should still be able to retrieve cancelled subscriptions through the API

Awesome. I know we've had issues with that and deleting customers in the past, so I'm trying to clean up the code so we're no longer deleting any stripe data. Appreciate the help!
