sorry, the context of the original thread is useful, but i'm referring to automatic card updates using the account updater feature and which property of the payment method can be relied upon as "static" across updates

the id will never change for those updates, only fingerprint and the expiration date can change

ok, i was told in the other thread that card type may change as well. but as long as the id is static, that's really all i need. thanks for the clarification 🙂
