@willow comet that means you already confirmed that invoice and it has a payment pending. For example maybe your customer paid with ACH and we're waiting to hear from the bank as to whether the payment succeeded

Hmm, gotcha. But there's some information that I can rely on to avoid calling the pay method manually for invoices that has a payment pending? Because I'm listening to the "invoice.finalized" event in order to pay manually an invoice.

I don't think there's a specific event for it unfortunately. Do you have an example invoice id?

So you can check attempted to see if it's true or not which would indicate a payment was attempted. You can also look at the charge property, see https://dashboard.stripe.com/events/evt_1KBOq6Fnn9huPxuktrRf5kYk
