@plucky verge you can use product_data with Checkout session creation within price_data but with subscription creation thats not supported, you need to provide a product ID

Can you explain what you mean about a product being archived? I;m not sure I understand what you're referring to

Hi, @storm pawn , I am adding a snip of the screen to show what I mean. I added this product to the Checkout Session creation and now it is archived. When I hover over 'Unarchive' button it says "This one-off product can’t be unarchived." Thus, I cannot refer to it, when I update the subscription:

Not sure which is the correct id - when I refer to it and what is written on screen is "prod_Kui49x1H1z2J6Z", but what the error says mentions "pr_1KEseOFDlhF015OLPDwPjzmY"

Ah looks like Checkout does this to avoid filling your Product dashboard/data with ad-hoc products.

If you want the product to be persistent, you should create it explicitly and provide it by reference instead of using product_data.name
