I created a subscription, then anchored it to 15 minutes later, let it pass that 15 minute threshold and then tried to add a usage-record in the past bucket
this is something that is going to happen to me on my end as I am consuming a kafka topic and I may be down for a day before I get around to consume and push to stripe. They may all get rejected because of their timestamps being before the current start period

btw: I fully understand that adding usage records in the past is BAD. but in this case accurate, and my only problem is that I want to delay sending the customer that invoice while I get my usages sorted

don't remember off hand but you can add usage records once you have a "Draft" but not Finalized Invoice right?
Wonder if you could use "auto_advance: false" and then add usage records and manually finalize the Invoice.
