Apologies on the very long silence on this thread, just seeing it again. Are you seeing any kind of error associated with the "failed to connect"? The connectResult that comes from the connectReacter call should have an error property here, right?

@summer berry yeah it's the error message that says “fail to connect” with an identification of the reader local network, but i can't associate a local reader network with an actual terminal id

Hello! Also, just to confirm, are you using the Terminal JavaScript SDK? If so can you provide a screenshot of the whole expanded error in the browser console?

hi! we are using the android sdk ; the error says "Failed to connect to readerName" where readerName is the local host of the reader

Ah, Android. Can you provide a full stack trace for the error, including the exact wording and all details of the error?
