Do you have a plan/know how you want these failed payments to be handled by your integration?
For here it would be recommended that you either have customer emails turned on for failed payments or that you otherwise notify the user so they can update their info.

Apologies for taking a bit. What you saw here looks like expected behavior so the best solution is to notify customers as I mentioned.
Basically there are a few ways this can happen. Ultimately it is up to issuers to decide what to decline/approve so it is entirely possible for them to approve a card 7 days ago and then decline a payment with it.
