Hi there 👋 I believe you can update the business_type of an account. Did you receive an error when you tried?

It's not inside of the business_profile hash, it's at the top-level of the account object:

it only comes from custom accounts, as far as I know

Had to do some double checking. I'm not seeing an option for you to change it. Going through the Express dashboard there is a note to contact support in case additional info needs to be updated, so changing the business_type might be a flow they can assist with but you would need to confirm that with them:
