hello, so for those scenarios, you will have to use "Direct Charges" to enable those accounts to accept payments but it is a fundamentally different fund flow
or use Destination Charges with "on_behalf_of"
or set up a Platform in that region (e.g. a US platform for US Connect accts)
I think option 1 is not suitable for my business because, if I understand correctly, using direct charges would make the connected account in charge of the refunds among other inconveniences, right?
As for option 3, it is not realistic as well since that would require a platform for each different country and an associated bank account, right?
That leaves option 2 but then, the "card_payments" capability is required for the connected account and this changes the "relationship between the customer, connected account, and platform" (quote) which is basically what happens in option 1, right?

yep

also yes
"relationship between the customer, connected account, and platform" (quote) which is basically what happens in option 1, right?
Don't remember off the top of my head but I think that might be correct (you can verify in test mode with an example Connect acct)
but from what I understand, these limitations just exist as part of regulatory and compliance reasons. You can only make cross border transfers from certain regions to other regions.
Ok thank you, the quote is from this page https://stripe.com/docs/connect/account-capabilities#card-payments
I guess I will have to restrict the location of my sellers then. Thanks a lot for those clarifications!
