Even though it's the same events, they look quite different and the first one does not have a customer field.

It looks like you won't be able to see the customer ID in that event but can see it in the related payment_method.detached event https://dashboard.stripe.com/events/evt_1K6CeIFVAKv4rEfindYcbIcE
