If i just refund it instead of replying to the dispute, will i not have to pay the process fee?

To avoid an inquiry or retrieval becoming a chargeback, submit any required evidence or refund the payment in full. Refunding the payment marks the inquiry or retrieval as resolved and doesn’t incur a dispute fee.
Again, this is more the kind of thing that support can answer. I'd like to help but my knowledge and support are more for building API integrations. Support is for account issues like this
