because when i log in to my stripe account, it says that ideal should be working

And one last additional question: If you want to use IDEAL, do you need to take specific steps to make it work on your website? Or will it appear on my website once i activated it throug my dashboard?

If the integration with sharetribe is using PaymentElement and they have configured it to work with iDEAL then it should show up and work just fine. But iDEAL will only show up if the type of transaction supports that payment method.
