hello, just to confirm, your question is:

How would you collect the "external account" details from the AccountLink onboarding form? (i.e. the Payout bank account info), right?

so Stripe Onboarding for Custom accounts doesn't support that right now, you'll have to collect those bank/debit details on your own form.

Ok that is super helpful / good to know. Thank you!! So if I'm understanding correctly, I should 1) create the account with Stripe Onboarding because why not; 2) separately update that stripe account with my own form that gets bank/debit details.

yes, right now you onboard ~everything on Stripe Onboarding

except collecting the bank acct or debit card details
