i seee a bank account object in the api i don't remember seeing that a while ago? When was this added? What countries can this be done for?

the BankAccount object has been here since mid 2015

Can you try and clarify what you are asking? What are you trying to do or excited to try? "bank account" can mean so many things, it's hard to answer/guide you without a bit more specificity

ok so maybe i tried it a while ago but just forgot about it since it didn't do what I wanted. I want to be able to allow people to pay with their bank accounts

do you want to debit their US bank account? Do you want them to wire money to you? We support a lot of flows

Okay so ACH Debit in the US is built on our legacy infrastructure https://stripe.com/docs/ach
We're working on moving this to PaymentIntent and PaymentMethod in the near future
