In short, no, there is no solution that allows you to automatically transfer funds to multiple connect accounts. The only solution here is to create the transfers separately

Right, is it preferred I create a Customer account (per user) for each Account (person receiving funds) to make use of the Customer tracking, etc facilities each Account offers

or, is it better I attempt the transfers method instead?

If you're using Custom account then you should be keeping the customers on the platform. There's not need for them to be on the Connect accounts

You should just be transferring the funds instead

Sorry, what I meant was making use of this:

I was under the impression I'd create Customers per Connect Account

When would one use the Customers per Connect Account feature?

You'd only need to create Customers on the Connect Accuont if you were using Standard Accounts with direct charges

With Custom accounts you would be using separate charges + transfers or destination charges, which doesn't need the customers on the individual connect accounts
