Im trying to create a product for clickfunnels. I want it to charge $297 one time then $97 per month.

okay awsome

#

So im trying to create this product but its not letting me. im only allowed todo the sub for $97/ month

zinc brook
#

Are you seeing an error or something? Where/how are you trying to create the product?

finite echo
#

i want to create a subcription that charges $297 for the first payment then $97 per month. is there a way to automate that?

#

right now, after they purchase the $297, i have to manually create the $97 per month

#

i was wondering if i could combine it so it charges 297 one time then 97 as a subscription

zinc brook
#

Are you trying to do this through the dashboard or the API?

finite echo
#

the dashboard

#

i dont know how todo the API, i created a webhook but didnt know how to trigger the subcription

zinc brook
#

So there's a few ways to do this, the easier one would be to create the subscription with a $97 recurring price, and a $200 one-time item that is only paid for the first invoice

finite echo
#

right but when i try to create a subscription, it says add customer and we dont know who the customer is yet

#

i want to set it up so when they buy on the website its a one time then the subscription takes place

#

Is there a way to create a subscription under the product tab todo that?

zinc brook
#

Can you clarify - how are you having people pay for things from your site if you're doing everything from the dashboard?

finite echo
#

I intergraded stripe with Clickfunels (website host)

#

The products i create in strip show up on my website

#

That what shows up. Its only showing the $97 and not $297 (one time)

zinc brook
#

Ah, I see - so this seems like a limitation of the third-party solution you're using (ClickFunnels). There are definitely ways to do this just on Stripe, but I don't know how to do this automatically with ClickFunnels.

finite echo
#

this is how i set it up

#

based on the way i set it up, its choosing the monthly rather than both

zinc brook
#

Again, that's a limitation of the third-party you selected. I have no insight into whether it's possible for you to require that they pay for both in a single transaction. That's somethign you should ask the clickfunnels team

finite echo
#

They havent been much help.

#

How would i do it with API?

#

btw, thanks for your help thus far

zinc brook
#

Through the API you would use the solution I suggested, where you create a subscription that has both the $97 recurring price and the $200 one-time price.

#

The issue here is that ClickFunnels isn't automatically doing that for you, but with Stripe it's relatively easy

finite echo
#

okay but when i create the subscription that has both the $97 recurring price and the $200 one-time price i must add the customer. how would i attach the customer to that subscription

zinc brook
#

In the dashboard you'd either Add one right in that UI (there should be a "Add new customer" option) or you use a customer that's already been created

finite echo
#

Once it's created, how do i add more people to that subscription ?

zinc brook
#

You would create a new subscription for each customer

finite echo
#

or would i have to create the subscription every time?

zinc brook
#

Yup

finite echo
#

damn

zinc brook
#

I'm heading out, but if you need anything else @dull fox can help!
