Hello, that toggle does not effect either mode, it just determines which one you are looking at in your browser

Thank you. For a new account, what do we need to do to switch from test mode to production mode? Or it is active by default and depends on which keys we are using?

From an API side it is just switching keys, to be able to take payments, you will need to activate your account https://stripe.com/docs/account/manage#activation
