It'd help if you could do a good and detialed summary: PI creation, the request that created it, what you see, another PI and how it differs so that we can understand what you're asking, I still feel like I'm getting a limited stream of information from you instead of a clear summary of what you already investigated

👋 @trail kestrel Are you still around? I took a quick look at a couple of the PIs you sent over and it looks like at the time the Payment Intent was created the Customer did not have any Payment Method set to invoice_settings[default_payment_method], which is where we pull the Payment Method to use for recurring Billing payments. Since they had no PM set there, the payment wasn't able to complete as expected
