In my use case the checkbox would be for the customer to select if they want to use their delivery address as the billing postcode or enter a new one. Enabling or disabling the requirement on the card element.

I'm not an expert at React, but my guess is that this is a bug with our React Stripe.js library. Given this PR (https://github.com/stripe/react-stripe-js/pull/220/files) I would assume this would work. I'd suggest filing a Github issue
