Hello again! Standard connected accounts have access to the full Stripe Dashboard. Express accounts have access to a very limited Express Dashboard.

Hi @flat wedge! So for OAuth with Standard, there's extra info that Connected Accounts will give to sign up this way?

We don't recommend OAuth unless you have a specific need to connect to existing accounts.

Okay, partially yes. I saw that if you tried to make a Standard account Manually that it required OAuth in this image

Yeah, you shouldn't be doing that unless you have an explicit need to.

#

You should create the accounts using the API and use Account Links to onboard them.

Can we still direct to Stripe Dashboard even if we have Custom accounts?

No, Custom accounts have no dashboard access of any kind. You need to build the entire UI for them on your end.

#

A Standard account has access to the same Stripe Dashboard you see when you access your own Stripe account.

Thanks for the help and reassurance, I've seen Rocket Rides before and seeing it again was helpful. We're pretty good now on the Dashboard side. Next is the Product purchase to Payouts flow.

The day is wrapping up so thanks again for the help today and yesterday especially, and hope you all have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow! Or perhaps a relaxed day tomorrow!
