I am also confused. Stripe Tax calculates tax based on address. Stripe Shipping Rates calculate via??? Like where is the logic where we know which shipping rate to apply?

Shipping options still aren't dynamic (as best I understand) and you'll still need to do the calculations on your end.

So we are a Stripe Connect platform yes?
Hence the name
So our customers are non-technical and have their own standard Stripe account yes?
So they upload 50 Shipping Rates
And we are creating button code that they embed and are using our server to create the checkout session
How would I possibly know which of the 50 shipping tax rates to apply?
Do I like calculate the distance between their address and the shipped address and turn it into an integer?
Doesn't the shipping cost need to be dynamically calculated???? Like Stripe Tax - it depends on the state no????

Not sure, that depends on your business model and is outside of Stripe.

The use case is really simple and common so we are very confused
The customer is just shipping a box of stuff to different states and depending on the state, the shipping costs varies
Totally simple and common use caes no?
