1 - It depends on the type of charges. If it is Destination charge, the platform handles the Stripe fee. Whereas if it is Direct charge, the connected account bear the Stripe fee, see this doc for more details https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges

Accept payments and specify how these funds should be split between your platform and your connected account by creating charges.

And for second question, the customer in this context, are you referring to the connected account?

I think connected account is the provider who receives money from platform for their service. Customer is the platform user who pays for the service.

Stripe fee is non-refundable, application fee is the fee that you (platform) charge to the connected accounts

Exactly, i want to know how stripe fee is calculated? is it flat fee or any percentage of transaction amount?
