hey there! are you having problem with this? yes, generally speaking cards from other countries are supported, though you or your customer might incur foreign exchange or foreign transaction fees

got it; I just didn't have a credit card to test with 🙂

and with the "postal code" field I wasn't quite sure how that translated.

The country of the card is meant to be detected so that we show zip or postal code as appropriate, and use matching validation

There are some rare edge cases like a customer with a Canadian issued card but a US billing address that don't work well in the Card element, but the new Payment Element addresses this with a country switcher.
