i have followed the following guide, -https://stripe.com/docs/plugins/magento-2/install#manual / from here i had to do the manual install as composer faild i have tried to installl the php package this again seems to fail but the module is showing in the admin area but will not show in the express check section other payment gateways are showing just not stripe

What is the failure message that you are seeing?

The Stripe PHP library has not been installed. Please follow the installation instructions to install the dependency.

Have you tried the suggestion of running composer update with the --no-plugins option?

Problem 1
- Root composer.json requires dealerdirect/phpcodesniffer-composer-installer ^0.5.0 -> satisfiable by dealerdirect/phpcodesniffer-composer-installer[v0.5.0].
- dealerdirect/phpcodesniffer-composer-installer v0.5.0 requires composer-plugin-api ^1.0 -> found composer-plugin-api[2.1.0] but it does not match the constraint.

Unfortunately I'm not that familiar with that error.

I might try restarting and/or reinstalling but I don't have much composer-specific advice ehre
