@alpine cloak they don't. Usually the platform transfers funds to them. Can you expand on what you're trying to do?
I am trying to see how we would deal with a negative balance on our seller's connect account - what if the seller wants to topup or make a payment to settle their negative balance (instead of us transferring from our platform account to the connect account) - is there a. way they can do this through their express dashboard?
no there isn't

So once a connect account is negative - it can only be offset by future transfers from the platform?
you as the platform can yes. Express accounts can't

For Express and Custom accounts, the platform is ultimately responsible to cover negative balances.
