Hi there! I remember having a conversation with you last week regarding account/business info update within the Connected account.
As you are still seeing the error, I was wondering if I could have your account number please?
I will check on the account status for the Connected account
I updated the all required information and still it's having the same error.
Where can I find the account number?
if you go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/account you should be able to see the acct_xxx on the top right corner of Account Settings section
acct_1GrwHlGgshU7wLq8
Please have a look
acct_1HJp8dCh6UwHNwUp - for this account id the checkout is working
acct_1JtPcxDFWhamr4Ce - For this account id and any other account id the checkout is not working and throwing error message as I sent
Both are test connected accounts
although one is working and others are not working.
Are you getting my point?
@high warren have you tried updating the required info for acct_1JtPcxDFWhamr4Ce as the error message suggests? Since this is a Standard account, you would need to login to the account to update the required information. If you can't remember how to login, then you should just create a new test Standard account and fill up all of the required information
@hazy marten While we are performing Connect to Stripe, we are clicking on "Skip this form" and It's returning to our website and creating all the details on db also. Are you talking about this ?
yes, you should fill up all the details
in order to enable payouts and charges, yes you would need to fill up the details even in test mode
Do i need to enter email and then continue?
yes, that's correct. I'd suggest using an email alias. For example, in gmail, you can use '+' to create email aliases - if your email address is jennyrosen@email.com, you can do something like jennyrosen+test1@email.com
What would be the password To access the dashboard?
that's up to you to set, if a new account is created, it should prompt you to input a password
you should make sure you use an email alias which hasn't been used before to ensure an entirely new account is created
you need to input a real bank account number
the standard account created via OAuth is considered as a "live" account because you can move a test account into live mode. Unfortunately, you are going to need to input a bank account that passes the live mode format validation. What you can do is to modify your live bank account details slightly, such as ending with a series of 0s instead
Thanks @hazy marten
