so a few things happened here
let me write it out
at 09/23, you set your Subscription to end trial on 10/23
so 10/23 you got your Invoice for $1500
then 10/25 you made the request to change the trial end to 11/29
so this is expected right? you had an Invoice created 10/23 because trial ended there and you only extended trial end on 10/25
Yes, extending the trial to 11/29 is expected
So how can I prevent the invoice from retrying

So it tried to collect payment today.
And it looks like it's supposed to retry again, but we don't want Stripe to try to collect payment until 11/27

You can void that invoice from 10/23 https://support.stripe.com/questions/void-an-invoice-from-the-dashboard
