You should be able to set it for a minute

It shows as Subscription invoice will be finalized and charged in 1 hour Scheduled for Nov 3, 2021, 12:32 PM

And if you can't (I think with Checkout you can't?) you can update the subscription after it is created to only have a minute trial

Can I specify it to try to finalize itself when I create the subscription instead of trying to update the invoice later (as it's a recurring invoice)?
