user clicks link to create stripe express account
user is asked for email/phone
user puts in email/phone known to stripe

stripe magically creates Express account

I guess maybe I'm answering my own question. I thought originally that was a problem, linking a Standard account when Express was requested. But it seems like it just lives inside the same identity

correct, it used to not work but now they are just 2 separate accounts under the same login
