@stiff lynx it's actively discouraged. We recommend moving to PaymentIntents instead.
It does partially work but without proper SCA/3DS2 support

OK, thanks will take a look at the PaymentIntents. What is the reason for 3D secure being actively discouraged in the charge API?

Because of what I explained: no proper SCA and 3DS2 support
