I have not found any fields that would obviously change in the docs and unfortunately have run in to trouble testing this.
So it does not look like these fields would change but I haven't been able to confirm. I would test this yourself when you receive a payment.paid event to determine if you need to store the new version

@next rover the status of the BalanceTransactions bundled in the Payout should be available at that point, since they have been paid out

Ok got it. So in short, it's a good idea to update the copies of these charges I've stored in my db? I was kind of leaning that direction, just to be safe.

Up to you. You usually don't need copies of the BalanceTransaction object and its status in your database, but if you store them then yes I would update the record
