hello, full disclosure, I know very little about Xamarin
that said, the iOS SDK under PaymentSheet prebuilt component supports scanning cards

so if you can figure out using the iOS SDK under the hood in your code, that will allow you to use the card scanning feature

I see, I am mainly concerned with integrating it with the Android part of xamarin, will I only be able to use that functionality under the iOS xamarin app ?

Android doesn't support card scanning at the moment, I have heard of plans but no idea on timelines etc

so only iOS SDK supports iit right now
