Apologies, just getting to this. Do you get an error when you try to use those locales?
Where do I find the ticket number related?
Stripe Elements does accept the locales, but does not localise, because Arabic and Hebrew is not implemented.
I just received the info from the support.
^ this clearly shows it's not supported at all
all the elements are upside down 😦
"Thank you for reaching out to Stripe support. I understand you need help in your Stripe JS SDK Elements as it didn't apply in RTL layout for Hebrew and Arabic. I'm more than happy to provide insight on this matter.
Based on the information I have on my end, I was able to gather that we are not currently supporting the RTL in layout itself for the time being. Nevertheless, Stripe is always improving and could bring this feature out in the near future. "
^ this email clearly states that Arabic and Hebrew is not supported, although the documentation says so
Ah, sorry to hear. That sounds more like it is the new Payment Element that is not supported yet. Have you tried using the other Elements such as the card element? https://stripe.com/docs/payments/accept-a-payment-charges
I need SEPA-DD and giropay support, sorry.
Also I am not willing to go to a deprecated SDK
The rest of Stripe.js is not deprecated
You can still take those payments otherwise https://stripe.com/docs/payments/giropay/accept-a-payment
this means I have to manage all the banks and their names/codes myself for EPS, right?
For which one? I am less familiar with these payment methods but will look in to it
EPS
I am quite hesitant to implement all the payment methods myself as most of them require frequent updates that I then need to do myself (including EPS)
Ah I see. Unfortunately those are the options we have right now that support the languages that you want. As support said, we are continually improving our products but at the moment this is not supported for the Payment Element
