Hi, while I think Support would be able to answer better than us, can you elaborate on where do you see that total amount different?
I use klarna to test the order on the US website. When the order amount is $1600, he directly prompts that it is not available. When I use a small order, it can be used normally. At the same time, I also do the same operation on UK, but it has no error prompt and can be used normally. I see that UK and US use different staging methods in the development documents, One is pay in 4 and the other is 30 days.
Do you own that website?
yes
So you owns 2 website? One registered as an US merchant and one registered as an UK merchant?
yes
Are you using PaymentIntent? In the response what do you see inside the payment_method_details as the Doc here ? https://stripe.com/docs/payments/klarna/accept-a-payment#web-submit-payment
yes, paymentintent api, seems to be empty🙁
so can I choose payment method by myself ?
I was talking about the payment_method_details inside the Charge object from the response of that confirmKlarnaPayment, like this
But, sorry for have more questions for you. You can just write into Support and they should be able to explain the different between US and UK for Klarna
Based on your customer’s country and the transaction amount, Klarna offers various payment options. With each option, Klarna immediately pays you in full and handles collecting the amount from your customer. The options offered to the customer include:
Installments: Pay for the purchase in 3 or 4 fee- and interest-free installments.
Pay later: Pay for the purchase in 14, 21, or 30 days.
Financing: Spread the cost of a purchase over multiple months. This option usually involves interest and a credit check.
Pay now: Pay for the purchase immediately by direct debit, card, or bank transfer.
looks like US is 4 and UK is 3
