@hoary bramble sorry for taking a while, to upload a file so that you get the relevant file id to pass in to the files parameter, you can refer to :

With regards to which is the correct parameter to use, you'd probably want to use this guide : https://stripe.com/docs/connect/required-verification-information
You can see which field is required in case Stripe is unable to verify the tax id : https://stripe.com/docs/connect/required-verification-information#additional-tax-information
