I am trying to collect customer payment via the WisePOSE terminal

It was presented to me via sales call that the terminal would connect to our stripe account/products created in stripe if we purchased the hardware

Terminal doesn't work by itself, you either need to build a Stripe integration that works with it or use an off-the-shelf third-party app/system with it.
